The company Atento Česká republika a.s. completed in September 2009 the first phase of the "Customer Support Centre Creation" grant project, the aim of which is the support of new jobs in the field of ICT. 162 jobs in total were supported in this phase, both at positions of an operator and in the field of attendant staff and management. At present the company is in the course of implementing the second grant project phase, the target number of supported jobs being 201 positions. The ICT and strategic services programme, in the framework of which the grant is paid, is a part of OPPI, the controlling body of which is the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Czech Republic. The project was carried out with the financial contribution of the EU - the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
