On Thursday, 19 February, Atento Morocco inaugurated a new contact center in the city of Meknes. This new platform, measuring more than 1,400 square meters, was designed to meet the needs of the French-speaking market. The center consists of 150 positions that will allow the company to create over 300 jobs. Atento employees based in this city will primarily serve customers in the banking, energy, and new technology sectors.

Following the centers in Casablanca, Tangiers and the two centers in Tetouan, Atento Morocco reinforces its presence in Morocco with this new platform, which represents an important enclave for the Group due to its geographical location and favorable communications infrastructure.

In this way, Atento Morocco continues its steady growth, reaching a capacity of 1,750 positions and 3,000 employees in this nation. With the new contact center, the company reaffirms its leadership in the offshoring market in Morocco.

Atento bases its leadership on the quality of its services as well as its applied working methodologies that ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.

Ever since Atento set up shop in Morocco in 2000, its goal has been the constant quest for excellence. As an outcome of these efforts, the company won the National Quality Award in 2007. This award-presented for the first time to a contact center in Morocco-recognizes both the quality and value that Atento adds to the operations of its customers.

During that same year, Atento also obtained an "excellent certification," awarded annually by Morocco's Association of Managers and Trainers of Personnel (AGEF).

Moreover, all of Atento Morocco's operations have held ISO 9001 V 2000 certification since 2003, conceded by the Spanish Association of Standardization and Certification (AENOR).
