Exame magazine contains prominent article about Atento Exame magazine contains prominent article about Atento

Exame magazine (Editora Abril publishing house), which arrived at the newsstands last Thursday (10/15), contains an article on Strategic Management, under the title "The business is going to end. What now?".The headline is enthralling, but the intention is to show that companies need to change their focus and to offer differentiated services to customers, in order to avoid being swallowed by the market.

As an example of this management trend, the magazine found the ideal example in Atento. The publication highlighted the strategy that the Company adopted to go about entering the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) market - the outsourcing of a firm's business processes.

The report covers the recent move of Atento's head offices to Rochaverá, demonstrating that the Company is putting into practice its proposal to have a more integrated and close environment - which contributes to ensure that the change of organizational culture of our company is now perceived even physically.

Differentiation

Agnaldo Calbucci, president of Atento Brasil, and Régis Noronha, Executive Officer of Strategy and Solutions, were interviewed by the publication and commented on the growth of the sector in recent years and the company's latest news, emphasizing the importance of transforming our business to meet market expectations and to maintain sustainable growth.

The president stressed that Atento "woke up" quickly to the changes felt by the sector and in time to tap into new opportunities, as portrayed in a conversation that he had with the then-president of Ford, Maciel Neto, in 2004. On the occasion, Atento created a new service, geared toward the improvement of the customer's products. "We perceived a chance there to enter a more sophisticated market", he said.
