The "Mundo Ejecutivo" magazine published a ranking of "Mexico's 1000 most important companies," in which the Atento Group was placed as the country's number one in the Contact Center class, and also second place in relation to all other companies in the ICT sector. Similarly, Atento Mexico was placed in the 257th position in the national ranking, having climbed 300 positions as compared to 2008. This listing evaluates the performance of the companies accountable for a major portion of the country's GDP.

"The results for the business community were several. While some players in consolidated sectors were able to achieve and even exceed established targets, many others in businesses that were adversely affected reported a decline in margins and had to put in place adjustments to their activities," states the article that describes the ranking.

Despite the fact that 2009 was a year of great economic changes, adjustments, and restructuring, this respected publication describes Atento as one of the country's most important companies, which has preserved its social responsibility programs and is also one of the few businesses able to improve its position in the ranking over recent months, owing to the Group's strategy, its customers, and the commitment by its staff members.
